the box on most vehicles is under dash on firewall sorry don't know range location for sure but pulling the box wont solve the problem ,key chip is not recognizing the box, try unhooking neg. bat for ten or 20 minutes and re-hook for a reset, work all door locks with keys
Ok will do reason I wanted to find blk box is I read that there could be some cold solder joints that are not making contact also p1667;p1672 I believe are alarm issues like the stupid car thinks she's been stolen
I did have battery replaced wonder if AutoZone sold us wrong battery because my old battery I almost needed a crane to remove it and new one is much smaller almost looks like a triple a battery in comparrison and I did tell the guy you do see the obvious differance he said yeah yeah it will work a battery is a battery I said ok paid him the 120.00 plus tax
installed a battery, ???? was the bat, cables and any other wires out their connected properly? how about fuses blown in and around battery cables if any and in under hood fuse box
a direct range rover forum will tell you more, as each owner has his personal grief with this master piece , ever own a jaguar ? don't!
No never owned a jag but wife and I went out looking at some bmw the big body ones not the lil tiny ones and they are fun to drive and really eye catching that is as long as it is working but I don't see to many people pulling their hair out like I am with this range rover and I have checked fuses wiring in and out of my range I don't find any blown fuses but reason I want to get it on the road is just before she died I bought some really nice 22 inch Lorenzo wheels with brand new perrali tires and haven't been able to hit the blvd yet ,,,bummed out in az city
