need help with wheels and tire size..

Just bought a hummer H3 base and would like to put 22x12 wheels on 33
tires. do you guys think its possible with out lifting?.. If it needs to be lifted,
how many inches does it need and what kind of lifting kit do you guys
recommend and whats the average price?... or should i just go with 20s and
33 tires.. need help plzzz

Trade this H3 in for something more manly, like a Suzuki sidekick, or Kia sportage, then go for something like 24" rims with 38 tires. Gas mileage is drastically improved with mud tread rubber, so look into that as well.
An off road vehicle with low profile tires and 22's looks stupid and is worthless off the pavement.
Ditto on looking stupid. And performance on or off-road. Stick with stock. You asked...
Ypu will have to have correct backspacing and offset on wheels to avoid any rubbing issues
