I have a few friends that have these and they speak highly of them. In speaking with the service advisor for the KIA dealer in town, he mentioned that there have been very few issues with this model, nothing major. Best of luck. hope this helps.
I bounced off a semi four or five times (all on the drivers side) a month after I got my optima, and I had no major injuries...I feel very safe in my car. They have GREAT crash ratings.
