Interior hood latch not working

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My interior hood latch won't open the hood, cable seems to have more slack
than normal. Also hood won't open........suggestions?

Try pulling on the cable with pliers and once you get the hood open adjust the cable or latch or replace the whole cable before you get locked out of your engine compartment.

Try with a long screwdriver or prybar - FROM UNDER THE FRONT BUMPER. Don't force anything, just press on the latch...
