Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2007 Lincoln Navigator 4x4 tsil lights are not working. Both brake lights
work, both turning signals work, the hazard lights all work in the back, but
the tail lights will not work when driving. I've turned the lights on all of the
settings and I get no response from the tail lights. I've replaced all of the
lights in the back and still get the same results. I've been looking for the
fuse that works the tail lights as my next step but unable to identify which
fuse works the tail lights... please help, car was already impounded once
for this cost me $400 don't want to have to do that again....

Pull the fuses one at a time if you can't find it any other way. Also check the bulbs and their connectors.

You would have spent less money if you would have taken it to a shop to be fixed than paying an impound fee. Now take it to a shop if you can't figure it out, or get a test light and start checking for power and see where it ends.

Rowefast...I didnt know they were out until i got pulled over, the relevance of that is that i've already spent a lot, so i'm trying to figure other solutions before i take it to the shop...

the problem is a fuse.. there are 3 different circuits. the parking lights, tail lights, license plate lights are on one circuit. the dashboard lights, blinkers, headlights are on another.. i will check my manual to see which fuse it is...

I have the same problem. I swapped out the blue and grey switch and still nothing. Would it be a fuse then or what should I do? Besides taking it to a shop of course

I replaced the break switch as well but still do not have taillights. Anybody who had the same issue ever get it resolved?

Fuse #18 in the panel on the pass side under dash.....my issue is the fuse blows as soon as I turn the lights on
