You have a short in the switch, or a bad connection on the a/c itself (check the connections on the a/c and ensure they're tight)
First I will ck the Relay ( fuse box ) make shore you have all butons right start your car and ck the compressor, clutch should be engaged now. If the problem persists I will take to AC specialist before you spend a bunch of $$$ Best to you Arad
