Can someone help? Or advice?
sounds like a good mechanic- maybe you should pay attention-
Never never flush a transmission..unless it's on it's last leg anyway and the fluid is brown and burnt. When the fluid is a nice red, all a flush does id pick up small particles in bottom of pan, and in filter, screen or other wise and circulate them through your transmission doing far more harm than good. Toyotas and other cars have a magnet on the bottom of the pan also, which gets disturbed by a flush, sending that steel 'dust' through your transmission.
WoW there's some good advice here!
All the oil-change joints, especially chain franchises, I won't name names and say especially Jiffy-Lube.. push flushes because it's a very high-profit procedure.
I would simply change the fluid and filter, but not flush it.
