When all the lights turn on the dashboard
All my lights on the dashboard turned on while I
was driving. .what does it mean?
Do you have the headlights set to automatic?
Do you mean 1) the warning lights or 2) the instrument panel lights? If 1) take the vehicle to a licensed certified Toyota mechanic; or shop you trust, immediately. If 2) did you turn on the head lights or rotate the instrument panel dimmer switch ?
My 2012 Toyota RAV4's all display lights stay on all time (as shown in photo) after engine started. Its happens 3 times at least this year. All cases happened on or right after rainy day. When it happens, whole RAV4 is hard to move (like brake is on) -- In January/2020, it happens in my drive way when I turn on RAV4 and all lights stay on (rainy day) but problem went away in next day (sunny). -- In a day of August (morning was rainy), it happens again when my wife about to leave from work in the afternoon and she called from her office parking lot. We have to use AAA to tow it to Toyota dealer. They said they could not find any thing wrong but only reprogram whole system then all problem disappear. (Of course it was sunny day when dealer "fixed" problem.) -- In this morning (November), it happens again and it is raining ... :-( Can some one tell me what's wrong with RAV4 and Dealer can not figure out. ????
I am having the same issue. I took it in and they blamed it on faulty battery and terminal. Replaced those and things were going well for a couple of weeks. This morning, it happened again. When you are saying "hard to drive", mine is when the Power Steering off light comes on, the power steering goes away. When that light goes off, everything feels good again.
Greg - I'm having a similar issue. out of the blue all the dashboard warning lights came on and I lose power steering. The car doesn't shut off and I still have fuel power to safely pull over. It has happened twice in one month. 2008 Rav 4 it was recommended to check the battery cables and am going to look into it
