I'm trying to get an idea if engine replacement is possible from an 07 into an
04 Town and Country. 04 has blown head gasket and 07 was rear ended? 07
has 100,000 less miles on it and all other aspects of the two vehicles are
exactly the same?
Yes, but you may need to swap the ECM as well. If you have the 07 on hand to act as a donor vehicle, no problem, as you may need to pull various modules and harnesses off it as well. They're both 4th generation cars, I don't think there is any significant changes in the model.
Thank you I figured they were, and I think the change might be less then the head repair and if the block is 04 isn't too bad I may be able to rebuild it over time. Appreciate your quick response! Thanks
