cx 9 2007 door light wont go out and the doors will not lock. is there a way to see what sensor is not working. i did disconnect the hood latch and put a jumper in there but it did not help.

I have the same problem in my 2011 cx9 the Mazda shop have spent 3 hours on it and still can’t find the fault, can anyone help?

I’ve been told there are sensors built into the latches and one of them is out. I don’t know how to trouble shoot which one, but the part is $198. The entire latch needs to be replaced.
