could be warranty. The cvts have 10 year 200 000 km warranty here in canada but sounds like yours is over in mileage.

I did pass warranty, it was 120,000 miles. I have 130 or so. No warning lights, no stored codes.

I have a Nissan altima 2005, I just had the radiator changed yesterday. Now when I go to drive it this morning it starts over heating as soon as I press the gas. My 2006 nissan altima 2.5 automatic transmission will sometimes not go into drive. It will go into reverse, but you have to manually shift it into 1 then 2, 3 and then drive to get car to move. 10 Answers

only way to get car to drive when this happens is to shift manually from 1 through to drive. After that car runs fine for rest of day. Sometimes it shifts into gear hard.
