My 2007 jetta 2.5 will not start. It was running one second, stopped the next.

Let me give some back ground. I haven't run the car in a couple of weeks. I was
running it to charge the battery a bit. While it was running, I pulled a 10A fuse from the
dash panel. The car stopped, as if I shut it off. When I tried to restart it, It would turn
over, but not fire.

Affirmative. Transmission cannot be shifted out of P. Was going to try starting from Neutral. I wasn't thinking when I pulled the fuse. I know better than that. Car has 162,000 miles and never gave me an issue.

Did I trip a Fuel pump relay? Did I activate some safety feature when I interrupted the circuit?
you most likely did. Go to your owners manual and find out what fuse you pulled. You may have to unplug your battery for 15 or more minutes to reboot your cars computer system. Touch the couples together to completely drain the charge in the computers. once they are both detached from the battery. this might fix you up then again it might not. Pulling a fuse while the cars running could a ruined a relay. Finding out what the fuse was for will help trace the problem faster.

Can you explain what I should be touching to discharge the computer and how? I disconnected the battery yesterday. I need to check which fuse. It was a 10A fuse. Thanks!
The fuse is the unimportant part what the fuse powered is. So open your car Manuel and find the page that shows the fuse panel layout. Find the slot the 10 amp fuse came from and post what it was here. And to discharge the system. Grab both free battery terminals and touch them together. This grounds out and drains off all the left over power remaining in the capacitors of the computers.
Having same problem key got locked into the ignition i pulled the fuel pump fuse to kill power to motor. I have since replaced the ignition lock cylinder and have a new key programmed to car but car still wont start will turn over but cut off a half second later
