Mark is correct the only parts that are different between the 69 and 70 are the front grill and headlight buckets, side marker lights were moved up front as well and the rear tail panel (different taillights).

69 had scoops under the quarter windows on the fastbacks, and the 70 didn't

The 69 was the first Mustang to have 4 headlights, the scoop on the rear quarter, the grill, headlight buckets, and the taillights and the panel between the tail lights, are basically the only difference, but ......everything will interchange between the two cars, including the hood.

Always compare parts in a parts catalog. Do not assume they are the same. The 69 rear quarter fender extensions are different because the tail light panel curves and the 70 does not. The 69 driver side dash with the gauges are not the same.
