Vin body type different from car

Asked by Kelli Feb 10, 2019 at 05:50 PM about the 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe RWD

Question type: General

Buying a '66 mustang.  The vin shows the body type is convertible but the
actual body is hardtop? No indication of body work.  Anything to this?

Run the VIN through Marti reports and see exactly what it should be. If it doesn't match body, someone swapped out VIN and/or title.
