Why is My motor ticking

My 2002 v6 3.8 mustang  has been sitting for
a long time and hasn’t  been drove much at all
can this cause a tic in my motor

bad oil pump, worn engine or low oil level engine's valve train lifters, rockers, camshafts and cam adjusters. The timing chain can also make a ticking, is it trying to start ?
