can i drive the truck with a bad catalyst converter

If the catalytic converter is plugged up, the engine will not perform properly, meaning eventually the motor will not run. When it starts getting bad you will not be able to get over 25 mph.

you can get an exhaust specialist to put in a pipe and eliminate the converter completely- unless: 1. you live in a state that does emission testing- 2. you have empathy for the plight of the earth's atmosphere- 3. you don't like doing things the sleazy way-
Your not gonna get away without a cat on a 2003 Model Ford. The engine just won't run right, and gas mileage would certainly drop.
