key door lock are not working

If I understand you correctly, the key turns but does not unlock the door. You know the keypad combination and it does not unlock the door. Is that correct? What about the key fob... does it work?

Yes i know the keypad combination but it isn't working . The key goes in the lock but it will not turn . And i don't have the key fob . I have had this vehicle for 5 years and it has never done this .
I only have a couple of ideas here. There is only a couple of reasons the key can't turn. 1. the lock to mechanism is broken or has come off. The fact that the key won't turn, I think the mechanism may be jammed OR someone has squirted superglue in the lock! 2. If no one has changed the code to the keypad, there is probably an open circuit to the wires. have you tried to press 3 after doing the combination? have you tried to lock the doors with the 7-8 keys? That would let you know if the pad has power to it. I'm not sure, but you should be able to get into it with a "slide bar" down the window. That will at least let you get inside the cab so you can trouble shoot it.
Were you able to figure out what the issue was? My 2005 Expedition is doing the same thing.
key fit door will not unlock cant get in with only remote

The key will open the door. The key pad will not unlock or lock the driver door.
