My Apologies to the Gurus for the upper case lettlers.But like I said what I have is some white smoke not a lot but some. No water in the Oil, but I am consuming water every two to three days, and there are no leaks.Thanks,CSSR31

No problem. We are built tough, we can take it. Water (coolant) is making it's way into the intake manifold. You can inspect the junction at the block, may have to replace a gasket....will have to examine the nature of the beast to make a correct judgement on this one. the caps thing is just ettiquette. It is confusing to us, LIKE YOU ARE YELLING! ...glad you now understand this....I'm feelin' like an old man 'cause how you gonna get around in the technical world unless you know how to type?
Check in with other owners at http://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen- durango-70/ ---- they may know of a know leaking issue. Pontiac V6's are known to leak in the lower intake manifold. maybe Durango's have something similar. The site has a lot of other useful information.
My advice to anyone with a chrysler product. Get rid of it!
If you are getting a white smoke I would say a head gasket or a intake gasket and if you need to change the head gasket it would be vise to get a new water pump,Thermostat, serpentine belt and tensioner and check the timing chain and the hoses while you are in there. Cooling fluid can get int fuel or oil depending how a head gasket blows and even both ways.
