Question type: Maintenance & Repair

the car became locked in park.  roadside assistance helped me get it out of park, but it still will lock up in park or neutral.  What do I do to stop it from locking in park?

Hi Bobby ... Anti-theft devices run roots deep into several systems in the car and it rarely pays to mess with them. Contact your local VW dealer and he'll tell you how to reach a diplomatic solution. Good luck!
