Last winter I hit a deer and radiator tranny cooler and basically all new front
end was replaced. Ever since the operating temp will not get above 180
degrees in the winter.

Need to make sure there is a 195 deg. thermostat in her.
Thanks for the quick reply. 4 different shops have worked on this issue but have not fixed the problem. Thermostat is brand new as well as the housing. Summertime the Tahoe will run at 210 only winter time the temp drops.

Thanks for the answers. I've had 4 different shops try all the things you suggested. This problem is only in the winter. Summer the operating temp stays 210 when warmed up. Even at 30 above the temp is 180. Only when idling did it reach 210 but when I started driving the temp dropped.
