05 forester oil

I add oil to my 05 forester xt and after I drive
it a few days and check the oil it isn’t even on
the stick. Is it really using/burning the oil that
bad? My oil light never comes on

First of all never let the oil light come on. At that point your engine is probably toast. Unless you see a puddle of oil under the car the oil is being burned. What oil weight are you using and how many miles on the car?
