Will mercury mariner last 250,000 miles

Is the vehicle at 0 miles now? It is like asking if I will live to be 100, but with proper care and regular maintenance any vehicle can last lots of miles. You have to take into consideration that not only the mechanical components will need to be replaced to keep it running, but body parts deteriorate as well. I say this because my friend has a 2000 Ford Escort, purchased new, and it just turned 200,000 miles; everything works and runs perfectly, but all these years the car has received excellent maintenance and preventive parts replacement.
I drive a 2010 Mercury Mariner v6. I bought it used in 2012 with 40,000. It now has 221,000 miles on it. I have done break, tires, tran flush, oil changes, that activator switch for the trunk last week, and just replace an oil pressure sensor showing low oil pressure at idle. Interestingly I have now driven it for 180,000 with the check engine light on... left and right bank lean. I tried to get it to shut off. Couldn't ever find the problem but apparently it doesn't matter. I drive for work.
I have a Mercury Mariner 2010 Premier 4 cyl AWD. It now has 235,000 miles. Everything works well, even the seat heaters. It runs like a champ. The engine doesn't burn oil. I get an oil change every 3,000 miles, and keep it in good shape. This is Michigan, so there is beginning to get rust at the bottom of the hatch door and the other doors. Nothing noticeable. I put a lot of highway miles on it in my job. It's always been very dependable.
Thank you sooo much for replying. I do all required maintenance. You are so nice.
My 2009 Mercury Mariner lasted until right before Memorial day 2022. I had driven it thru many states, found it to get better mileage that what it stated originally. Mine was a hybrid, took care of it with quality parts whenever needed as I tend to travel on the hwy a lot. My check engine light would frequently go off, I swear it liked cooler weather like it's mistress. My mechanics told me engine was getting "tired", I thought I'd be able to trade in at end of summer, oh well. What Ford should have realized was reason sales dropped off was bcuz you can run these suvs into the ground. Mine died at 231,344.2 miles & was absolutely the best, most reliable vehicle I've owned. Bought it in 2012 with 57k miles, so believe I got best buy for 18k pre-owned, certified. Most issues I had came from normal wear and tear, some neglect from dealership/previous owner. Now I need another work horse. I'd love to find another.
My Mercury Mariner 2008 has his 295,000 miles as of 9/01/2023
