2008 Taurus - When I turn the defroster/heater/ac on there is a clicking sound - what's up?

There is a clicking sound coming from behind the steering wheel area. The air blows out
all vents with the exception of the vents that blow on the windshield. Is this a motor or
could something maybe be stick?

Hi Terrie, Sounds like something might have fallen down the defroster vent and is rattling around when the air blows on it. Could be about anything like a business card, paper or even a comb. I've pulled a lot of things out of dash vents over the years.
