any ideas no crank no start ?

It could be that the immobilizer ring that wraps around the ignition cylinder is going bad, the key sends a code to it which communicates with the computer to confirm code before disabling the immobilizer allowing it to start. The other possibility is worn tumblers in the ignition cylinder (which may require new keys to be programmed)

Replaced the mentioned the ring. To no avail. Have a ignition switch on order but I didn’t think of worn would affect the key chime?

If the tumbler rings are worn, the cylinder may not fully make contact causing it to not register the key being in the ignition, which can cause no chime
