can you put a bigger engine in the 2008 impala ss???

I have a 2008 impala ss and I want to put a bigger engine in it is this possible maybe like the ones they put in the new
camaro ss or like and old school 350 pleas let me know thanks

Those are fwd so to swap engines you will need to use a transverse v8. A LS7 or older style v8 probably won't fit in the engine bay unless it was heavily modified.

i have an 08 its got a 5.3 ltr v8 its got a shitload of power but you wont be drag racing on saturday night if thats what you want go get a camaro lol

So there is no type way that you can modify A 2008 Chevy ss impala to give it more Horsepower and if so can the 427 small block Chevy engine fit in side of the 08 ss impala and is there any way possible to convert A front wheel drive into A rear wheel drive in order to get the speed that some of us guys looking for in A newer ss impala
