Hi, I own a 2008 Ford Escape XLT FWD and I'd like to put on larger rims and tires for next summer. Would a 255/50/R20 fit on this vehicle? Will the speedometer still read properly or will it change?

suggestions. Merry Christmas from Canada.

At that size your speedometer would change. Marginally at slow speed. more noticeable at hwy speed. I would read slower then what you are actually going. You can have the pcm adjusted at a dealer for the tire size you are using. Your factory recommended sizes are: 245/50/R20 255/45/R20

Thank you Michael. I think I will go with your suggestion of 255/45/20 all around. I appreciate the input.
