Tom is right, but if the battery is OEM... original from factory, then the battery it's self may be bad.
Take it to an auto parts store and have them test the alternator and battery for free.
Hi Ken. In Calif AutoZone has become the place to not go. They won't do an OBDII scan, ( but are real quick to try to sell you a scanner) they will not bench-test an alternator, will not load test a battery, won't even put wiper blades on your car when you buy them. I stopped doing business there, and now I go strictly to NAPA. The guy told me that one time a guy was putting wiper blades on a car for a woman and he dropped the arm, without blades on it and it cracked her windshield. I suppose that can happen but now they are not to help with that.... just sell a new alternator (which can not be returned unless bad from box) etc. But NAPA and O'Reilleys will
