Won't drive

My Nissan Altima oil went low in the engine,i top it up with
3 bottles of 10w 30 and it starts ok,but,when put in drive
or reverse  it shut off immediately,can you say what is the
issue

    I have to start on 1st and manually gear into 2nd then drive. Once I get it in drive it stays. It seems like once it warms up it's fine. I live in cold climate and at high altitude.
