Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Starts then dies , starts then dies , if i step on gas
pedal for like stomp it , it stays running,  only does
this some times . Check engine light on and says
O2 sensor  , could that be the problem?

Took it to AutoZone didn't see the codes but the kid said O2 sensor and 3 others popped up about tranny but not sure about the other codes , he said it was the first sensor on the exhaust

It is possible the O2 is bad, but there is usually a underlying problem, like a intake manifold leak. I would at least suggest to snug the bolts up, its probably running rich.

Did you scan it for trouble codes or trouble shoot any of those parts before changing them? Spend some time/money on proper diagnostics first. That will save you a ton of money and when you're done you'll have a car that runs instead of one that doesn't. With that said, is it possible its your security system shutting the car down?
