have you left the ignition on for long periods of time without the motor running? this would cause the coil packs to burn out

No I have not left the ignition on , But since I've asked for help I've replaced the coil and got the car started and idled for about five minutes then attempted to drive the vehicle as soon as I put the car in drive started missing real bad, I turned car off and tried to start again and starter stayed engaged again.
