Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello there I just recently got a 2008 Volkswagen
Passat 2.0 turbo and it ran perfectly fine until I took
of the battery for a few minutes and when I tried
starting it, it just cranks and doesn't start up. Also
there is no check engine trouble codes. If someone
could please help that would be great. Thanks

You have to initialize the car again. Put the ignition key in the ignition and leave it on the ON position, don't try to crank the car. Leave it there for at least 15mins. Then try to start it.

Ok so I tried doing it twice and no luck after further investigation I found out I have no spark can it possibly be that the car doesn't read the key?
