Asked by Steven May 13, 2017 at 08:15 PM about the 2008 Toyota Camry XLE V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I saw on Car Complaints . com (not sure if links are ok) and they are showing
that the 07/08/09 models have A LOT of complaints about oil consumption
and I was just wondering if anyone knows if that problem is mainly for the 4
cyl and not the V6 variants

Any Toyota 2AZFE engine of those years indicated is an oil burner. Toyota will fix this problem under a special Warranty Enhancement program. Google details with a "Excessive Oil Consumption Program" online search for details.
