"the propeller shaft"...sounds like something you'd find on a plane~~..you haven't had unbalance troubles with your driveshaft?

Thanks!! Seems to be in my transmission. I believe it is under warranty still 70,000 miles. I just hate dealing with dealership. Maybe I can drive it until the light comes on? It only does it when I am going 40-50 miles an hour. It has a quick hesitation like it is getting ready to go to next gear and quickly stops. I see a lot of folks that have this problem and just don't want to break down somewhere. I drive 95 everyday!

you may be over-filling your tank...stop at the first click, else you will have a check engine light come on due to evaporative system errors (your charcoal is flooded)~

Just call a dealer and give them your vin number and they can tell you if there is a recall. Its not difficult.

There can be recalls for alot of 2008's it doesnt mean your vehicle falls under the recall. Its vin # specific. Thats why you should call and/or go by the dealer to see if your vehicle falls under any recalls.

Yes there is a recall on that transmission.I know first hand the wave plate blew up the transmission. This happened in 2014, I had 52,000 miles. GM would not cover it. I paid to have it fixed. two months later I go a letter saying it was a Nissan transmission and they were recalled. they sent me a check paying me what it cost me. You have to work with your GM dealer to fill out the paperwork. I have a 2008 equinox.

any recalls for traction control or stabiltrak? I keep getting a message that they need service

I get that message and engine light it also tells me my engine power is being reduced. I was told it was a sensor in the throttle. I bought a gas pedal installed it. Things were normal for a week then it started again. Now I was told I have several sensors that need to be replaced. But that’s advice from autozone free diagnostic as long as engine light is on. I have an appointment with a Chevrolet dealer so hopefully I could get this fixed in a non costly but professional way.
