2008 equinox

My 2008 equinox is running sluggish like it has got
water in the gas tank. We replaced the spark plugs,
put some stuff in the tank to try and get rid of the
water but the car still sounds sluggish when I take
off. What could cause this

This happened to our 2008 Equinox. We also thought that there was something wrong with the gas in our tank. We put in fuel additive with a fresh tank of gas, but it didn't fix the stuttering. We then found that there was a Chevy recall for the plug wires. We had those worked on by the Chevy dealership and that fixed the problem. They repaired some of the plug wires gratis, but we had to pay for another plug wire. #10250: Special Coverage Adjustment - Spark Plug Wire Warranty Extension - (Jan 31, 2011)

Air filter could be dirty air flow sensor dirty get some contact cleaner
