2008 equinox overheating

put new water pump on,new thermostat,new hoses,have flow,this is 2008 no cap,fill up hoses and ovre flow tank has heat for about half hour than turns cold and over heats up thur the fill bottle.had flush done they said presures look good.

I have the same problem. Replaced head gasket, heater core, cap, oil, coolant, sensor, etc. Car was in garage 8 x in three months. Now it sits dead in the garage. It still overheats!!! The truth is those of us who have bought Chevy equinoxes have bought junk. I have had nothing but Chevys since 1989 that were trouble free,..... I will never buy another one. I believe GM knows about this, but they are no longer stand-up enough to fix the problem.
