Absolutely, especially if your swapping the 4.2 over. Inline 6 cylinder.

I have a 2007 trailblazer LS 4.2vortec the motor is gone in it so I went and got a 2008 motor for it.i was trying to see if anyone know if it would work or will I run into any problems such as hooking the trans wires,senors hook up,harnesses,radiator hook up,basically will everything work from my 2007,i also have the computer thing that be under the hood that's hooked up to the cam on the motor from the 08 trailblazer motor,or do I use mines off the 07,i thought if I use the one from the 07 it wldnt work since it's adapted to the old motor and the 08 will be better since it came with that motor,anybody know

im pretty sure you'll be fine sir just make sure you replace your computer ecu modules to an 08 so it will read correctly
