You can't disable it but you may be able to not arm the system when you lock it up. For example if I lock my 2000 Grand Prix using the door lock switch on the door the vehicle is locked but the security system is not armed. If I lock it using the key fob the security system is armed. But, either way if someone tries to start the vehicle without the key, it won't start! Hope that helps! Jim
