2008,Chevy mailbu LT security system has me locked out

Asked by Tmoscicki85 Sep 29, 2016 at 09:41 PM about the 2008 Chevrolet Malibu 1LT FWD

I have power all my dash lights come on
windows go up and down but when I try to
start the car won't turn over, click, nothing.. I
called dealer he gave me a code for the
2008 Chevy Malibu LT every make is
different year wise.. Anyway.. Here's the
code.. Hook battery charger up not jumper
cables.. Has to be a charger.. Turn Ur
ignition on, don't  start. Wait 10mins then
turn off for 3secs then back on for 10 mins
then back off 3 secs then back on 10 mins
then turn off then try to start should work.. It
unlocked mine.  Its takes 40mins

Hook charger up to battery.. turn ignition on 10 mins off 3 secs back on 10 mins then back on 3 secs then back on 10 mins turn it off and then try to start..
