I plan buying 2008 model 4runner V8. I have not driven one before but see that there is an SR5 model and limited model. The latter cost more than the former. Which will you advice giving that
1. I will be driving the truck mostly on unpaved road and occasionally with potholes
2. Repair cost in terms of the suspension in the near future
3. I will be using the truck in Africa where some mechanics have a problem of fixing complex electrical problems

I s there a difference in the body form? Which of the two is better of-road?  I will prefer one with 3rd row seat though this is not mandatory

well plain and simple here, the more options a car has, the more electronics controlling those options (i.e. limited model), however toyota rarely has any electrical problems other than check engine light due to evap emissions which dont effect running ability. and really 4runners dont have any suspension problems either, i have one with 212k and another with 287k miles and both have all factory suspension other that rear shocks on one. the only difference between sr5 and limited is the amount of options, they are identical in every aspect.
