Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello, friends please help me out.
I plan buying a 2008 4runner V8 5-speed Automatic. It is a full-time or permanent 4WD. I am told it was the land cruiser 4.7l I Force that was mounted on the 4runner and the sequoia and that the V8 in the runner are not as many in the system as the V6
I have the following worries.
1. Should I need to change the engine, can I use the Land cruiser 4.7L, Sequoia 4.7L as a replacement?
2. Can the transmission box for the sequoia be used in the 4runner 4.7L?
3. Are replacement parts more expensive the V6
4.

I am asking in case I find it difficult getting a 4.7l 4runner engine and transmission for replacement because I learnt they are not many in the system as many as the V6

you asked this question before. there is probably more 4.7L engines because toyota and lexus are the same company however lexus puts the v8 in there equivalent models. were toyota puts v6 in some 4runners and tundra and v8 as option in 4runner and tundra, however the sequoia and land cruiser only have v8 as to the lexus gx470 and lx470. so you only have 2 cars with the v6 and both have v8 option, so you now have 6 cars that have the v8. there is only one 4.7 used across the model line up as well as one 4.0.
