Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Has the 2008 v8 4runner a timing belt light signal that alerts you when  it is time to replace it. I am wondering if both the SR5 and Limited Editions of the v8 have a timing belt warning signal.

:Check engine will light from mileage alone. If in doubt have it inspected at least

Sorry but the check engine light will never come on just because of mileage. Something has to glitch out or stop working for the cel to come on. Now there are some maintenance reminder lights on some cars (honda bmw) but not toyota. There is no light for the timing belt, every car has different times on when to change the belt, for 2008 4runner the belt should be replaced every 90k miles or 108 months.
