Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have the same problem with my 2008 Dodge Charger. my horn doesn't
work, yet when I lock it does. Yes, Bob maybe it does no good to blow it
when someone cuts you off. but I do need it to work in order for it to pass
inspection here in Virginia. I am taking it to the dodge dealer tomorrow for
the Airbag recall. I know they are going to ask me about doing my inspection.
I am going to tell them no because they will fail it because the horn is not
working. Know if they want to fix it it will cost too much. Hoping I can figure it
out myself, or get some help. I am pretty sure it's not a fuse. Was told it
might be in the steering wheel. Wonder if it has something to do with the
Airbag recall? guess I'll find out tomorrow?

Most makes have a fuse for horn. You fuse box cover or owners manual should tell you more.
