Bad battery or alternator

When my cars rpm rising pass 3500 the
battery light comes on. My tool scannner
show the battery bolt and when the light pops
up it shows 11.2
But at stop it goes back up to 14.2

Most likely your alternator has a bad module- some of them have a few separate ones just for safety’s sake; if one goes bad it doesn’t kill the whole thjng right away. It also could be that you are overtaxing the alt and need a higher amp rated one. Do you have a CEL?
