i used to put in radios for a living the best way to run the power wire is find a nice grommet in the firewall and go through that to the inside of the truck and run it down THE OPPOSITE side as you run the rca leads...otherwise your going to get a hightpitch whine coming from the speakers find a good size bolt in the rear to hook your ground wire up to(i like a rear seatbelt bolt or something of the same size

damn facebook preposed it on me... any way make sure you keep att the power wires separate from from the rca leads i cant stress this enough also MAKE SURE YOU FUSE THE POWER LEAD the last thing you want is the power lead to ground out on something and start a fire also how many watts are you running and how big are the subs?

Thanks so much, I have also been looking at other listing and someone said to put the lead in with the hood latch. I went out and looked at it and I think that will be perfect. But I plan on putting the amp under the driver side seat so if I put the rca's along the other side of the same seat would that be far enough away you think? I have 2 kicker comp c12's and a kicker ZX400.1 that is rated at 449 max watts

I also have a new question... What should I hook the REM to? I heard that the ignition will produce feedback. Is that true?

i hooked my remote wire to the fuse panel and ran it through a switch. so i could cut the amp on and off at will. the remote wire doesnt draw a lot so it shouldnt hurt.

Ok so I'm trying to take off the "radio dash", I forgot what it's called. I read that all you have to do is undo the two screws behind the cup holder and the rest should just snap out... My first clip broke so I stopped until I get better directions. I am looking all over the net and can't find anything. Please help me. How do I get to the radio?

I figured it out!! The black part just comes off... No screws, just take your finger and pry the little effer off. I found that the bottom right comes off the easiest first then the rest just kinda falls into, or in this instance out of, place.
