Engine shut down

I have a jeep GC with  4.7 V8 with 16 spark plugs
and had the top 8 plugs replaced.  When I picked
up the jeep from the shop and drove about 2/10s
of a mile it died without warning and would not
start until the thoub was recycled. At no time did
any lights came on and this continued for 10
months after going to several locations I was told
that the plugs were bad. Is there a known TSB
about engine shut down because of the plugs?
