Slipping Transmission in Silverado

My 2008 Silverado LT1 with 4.8l engine has the transmission slipping and the
truck in in limp mode. It displays fault codes U0073 Control module comm. bus
off, U0100-00 Cost Coms. with engine module, U0101-00 Lost comms. with
TCM, U1040 Lost comms with BCM, and C0242-00 PCM indicates traction
control

First thing you need to do it check all the engine, sensors and computer grounds, make sure they are clean and tight, GM trucks are really bad for loosing grounds. Then hopefully after that you can get it to run live data, and track down the actual problems if the grounds didn’t fix it..

I tried answering this earlier but nothing would post. First thing to check is all the engine, sensor and computer grounds as those are common with GM trucks, hopefully that will fix enough of the trouble so you can get live data up and working and just go from there.
