I have a 2008 Silverado Ext. Cab 4.8L. When my truck is running, all lights flicker (dome, dash, headlights, taillights). I've checked both battery and alternator at Autozone and both were fine. What can I do to fix this?

Check for loose connections at battery Both positive and negative, and condition of cables, loose ground at block or at starter.

I just finish checking all cables and even added a ground, but still having issue. "Service Engine Charging System" light comes on and ac pulses as well.
IT will be the alternator voltage regulator biult into the stater,it will show charging but it will power surge, meaning flickering light,s---over charge, rplace alternator.or have it rebiult, and request a new voltage regulator be put in it.
Load test will show charging, that,s not the problem, normal load is 13.5 to 14,,amps,,they will just say it,s good,it will show a slight surge prolly about 14.3 amps or better and will flucutate, yes fix the alternator,or replace it with new one.
