What would be the max hitch weight for a 2008 sierra 2500 hd. I'm shopping for a 5th wheel.

The Manufacturer states it has the industries largest pay-load and towing capacity! I do believe that it can easily tow a 10,000 pound load.

A two door short bed will tow more. But when you add more to it you will be towing less. If you buy a 2008 GMC four door long bed 4x4. About 12.500. A two door short bed 2x2 15.500. That is for a 5th wheel.
