What do I do when My Dodge Journey will not start after driving; when engine gets hot.

Is it telling you engine is hot ? The problem is probably with your shifter i have a 2009 dodge journey and it decides when it wants to start what works for me is jiggling the shift from side to side as i rock forward vigorously until it starts now dont get me wrong this looks absolutely ridiculous while doing it and buying the part is cheap enough but it does work !

a bit late here but i had this problem too. turns out pistons were misfiring. most likely a spark plug issue or fuel injector issue. I replaces all plugs and injectors in it fires up after driving every time.
