Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Hey so I just had my coils, spark plugs, camshaft
sensor replaced. Now my car is turning off when
I'm idle and it jumps when I'm trying to accelerate
after being at a stop light or when I'm driving in
general. I don't have a check engine light on or any
codes popping up my mechanic doesnt know what
to do now that there is no codes or anything.
Please help I need to get it fixed before Monday.

Check for vacuum leaks, u might've left a vacuum hose off or has a hole on it
So I have more to my problem. My car does turn off and sometimes makes a noise like something is breaking when I'm turning but I couldn't get it to make that noise when my mechanic looked at it.....he ran another deeper diagnostic and it says that the coils, spark plugs, camshaft sensor were not even replaced and so he looked deeper on the computer and it says that the timing is off so now he thinks it's a timing problem but that would not cause my car to cut off so it could be part of the problem and somebody told me about a GM pass lock sensor needs to be overrided to make my car stop turning off. So I have no idea what to do
If ur cam sensor was never replaced, that could be the reason it's cutting off. That sensor is part of the timimg system and if it's failing it's not adjusting the timing automatucally, the way it's supossed to. As far as the noise when ur turning, it's strictly mechanical most likely a ball joint or CV joint like tennisshoes mentioned
